The Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed on Sunday the deaths of two more Chilean nationals following the earthquakes in Venezuela, bringing the total to three victims.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a communiqué that the two new cases were confirmed by relatives of the victims. The ministry noted that it remains in contact with them to provide assistance, guidance and support.
The first reported death was that of Érika Ramírez Moller, 54, a makeup artist and content creator who died in La Guaira on June 24 after a structure collapsed. Ramírez lived in Venezuela with her husband and son.
The two additional cases bring the number of Chilean nationals killed to three. The ministry expressed its condolences to the families affected by the tragedy that has left 1,430 dead in Venezuela.
