The Metropolitan Park of Santiago presented an events schedule for the final days of winter school break at Cerro San Cristóbal and urban parks in the Metropolitan Region.
Acting director Marisol Torregrosa shared the details on Saturday, June 27, from the Pedro de Valdivia entrance in Providencia. She noted the success of the first week, which drew visitors from the region, other parts of the country and abroad.
Activities include free access to the National Zoo with prior reservation via Parquemet.cl. The Nature Fair will continue, along with fairs, sports at Plaza Centenario, cultural events at Casa Anáhuac, walks, cycling and hiking.
The network of 21 urban parks will offer sports, culture, theater, music and environmental education. The Naturaleza en tu Parque program will feature educators from Bosque Santiago. A Civil Móvil unit will also be set up for identity card and passport procedures.
