A private bus carrying pilgrims from Amritsar crashed near Shah Talai in Bilaspur district of Himachal Pradesh. Two passengers died and seven were injured in the incident.
A private bus carrying pilgrims from Amritsar crashed near Shah Talai in Bilaspur district of Himachal Pradesh. The bus was taking devotees to Baba Balak Nath Temple in Deotsidh and Shah Talai.
Around 35 passengers were on board at the time of the accident. District administration, police and health department teams reached the spot immediately and started rescue operations. Three passengers were seriously injured, with one referred to PGI Chandigarh and two to Medical College Hamirpur.
Four passengers suffered minor injuries and are being treated at Barsar Hospital. The administration provided immediate medical aid to the injured. Police are investigating the causes of the accident.
