Kaleab Ameha, CEO of Pitron Tech Solutions, said the system digitizes the full member lifecycle from onboarding and loan applications to reporting and management dashboards. Institutions can now process data faster and deliver transparent services.
The company partnered with Swiss firm Temenos AG to integrate core banking systems. Pitron FinOS also connects with Fayda Digital ID and offers training plus API support for users.
Shiferaw Shigutie, Commissioner of the Ethiopian Cooperative Commission, has outlined national reforms to modernize legal frameworks, expand digital services, and strengthen governance in the sector.
