Ryu Hae-ran has reached No. 7 in the women's world golf rankings after her first LPGA major win.
Ryu Hae-ran won the KPMG Women's PGA Championship at Hazeltine National Golf Club in Chaska, Minnesota, on Sunday with a score of 13-under 275, beating fellow South Korean Yoon Ina by two strokes.
The victory lifted Ryu five places to No. 7 in the latest rankings released Tuesday. It marked her return to the top 10 for the first time since Aug. 11, 2025.
Kim Hyo-joo stayed at No. 3 and Kim Sei-young remained at No. 10, keeping three South Koreans inside the top 10. Yoon Ina rose 22 spots to a career-high No. 17.
