The family of the 14-year-old girl missing since Saturday led a new march on Thursday as justice advances with raids and statements from the main suspect.
Agostina Vega was last seen Saturday night entering the home of Claudio Gabriel Barrelier in Córdoba. The suspect remains detained after giving a statement to prosecutor Raúl Garzón.
The family held a march to demand her appearance. Grandfather Miguel stated: “No hay dudas de que ella es la del video” and said the detainee “está mintiendo desde el primer momento”.
The mother's lawyer, Carlos Nayi, confirmed that experts are analyzing calls from hidden phones linked to the case. Prosecutor Garzón did not rule out further arrests and noted that Córdoba remains the epicenter of the search.
Two recent raids yielded negative results. The detainee's lawyer, Jorge Sánchez del Bianco, said his client is worried and denied that the house is a bunker.
