Siemens could dissolve two divisions

Siemens' restructuring into a "One Tech Company" under CEO Roland Busch could see two central divisions dissolved to cut complexity. Internal tension is rising as silos are dismantled and competencies centralized. An insider told Handelsblatt that many are nervous.

In Munich, tension is building at DAX-listed Siemens ahead of a major overhaul. CEO Roland Busch is pushing the "One Tech Company" strategy, which fundamentally changes the structure and processes. Silos are to be broken up, with competencies shifted to the center.

According to Handelsblatt, citing company circles, current plans call for a significant cut: two central divisions could be eliminated. The move aims to further reduce the complexity of the former conglomerate.

The reorganization will affect leadership positions up to the board level, potentially altering power distribution there. "Many are nervous," an insider told Handelsblatt.
