TAG Heuer has released a new limited-edition watch featuring the iconic Gulf racing livery. The Formula 1 Automatic Chronograph × Gulf combines a titanium case with a forged carbon bezel. It marks the first automatic version in the brand's Gulf collaboration series.
The 44mm watch uses sandblasted Grade 2 titanium for its case and bracelet. A forged carbon tachymeter bezel tops the design, which draws on light blue and marigold colors from Gulf-sponsored race cars.
Limited to 1,000 pieces, the model carries a price of €6,300 or US$6,300. It houses the Caliber 16 automatic chronograph movement, a 25-jewel Sellita SW500 with a 48-hour power reserve and 4Hz frequency.
TAG Heuer and Gulf have partnered on roughly 10 watches before this release. Earlier Formula 1 Gulf models used quartz movements, making this the first automatic chronograph in the line.
The watch includes a solid case back engraved with the Gulf logo and comes in dedicated blue-and-orange packaging.
