Tom Hardy will return to the Paramount+ crime drama MobLand for a potential third season. This follows earlier reports that he would exit the series amid reported tensions with producers.
The development was reported by Deadline after a meeting in London between Hardy, producers Jez Butterworth and David Glasser, and executive producer Guy Ritchie. The discussions resolved prior issues over the show's direction and Hardy's role as crime-family fixer Harry Da Souza.
Earlier reports from May indicated friction, including claims that Hardy had kept co-stars Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren waiting on set. A Paramount+ representative declined to comment.
In a June interview, Mirren expressed strong support for Hardy, calling him an amazing actor with a kind heart and saying she would work with him again in a heartbeat.
MobLand received a season 2 renewal in June 2025, with the run scheduled to begin streaming in 2026. A writers' room for season 3 is open, though no renewal decision has been made.
