Woman sentenced for 2017 triple murder of roommates

A Nevada woman received a prison term this month after pleading guilty to fatally shooting three roommates in Las Vegas nearly nine years earlier. Christine Sanchez, 56, was sentenced on June 4 to 25 to 70 years behind bars.

Sanchez admitted to three counts of murder with a deadly weapon in April. The plea spared her from a possible death penalty in the case. The shootings occurred on December 22, 2017, at a home on Del Santos Drive.
