Swedish defenseman Adam Ginning will not return to Linköping in the SHL. He has agreed to a two-year deal with the Vegas Golden Knights.
The 26-year-old defenseman spent four seasons in the Philadelphia Flyers organization after being drafted in the second round in 2018. He signed his first NHL contract following an SM-gold win with Färjestad in 2022.
Ginning played primarily in the AHL with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. He appeared in 16 NHL games with the Flyers and recorded eight points in 42 AHL games during the most recent season.
Ginning was raised in Linköping and previously played SHL hockey for both Linköping and Färjestad. The move marks a new chapter in his career with the Vegas organization.
