خاطب الرئيس الوطني لحزب بهاراتيا جاناتا، نيتين نابين، اجتماعاً عاماً في تافالاكوبام بدائرة مانافيلي يوم الأحد. وقال إن الحزب ملتزم بجعل بودوتشيري منطقة متطورة من خلال تنفيذ وعود رئيس الوزراء والأجندة المكونة من 20 نقطة الواردة في بيانه الانتخابي لاقتراع 9 أبريل. وذكر نابين أن حكومة التحالف الوطني الديمقراطي المقبلة ستوفر علاوة قدرها 3000 روبية فوق مساعدة "بي إم-كيسان" البالغة 6000 روبية، ليصبح المجموع 9000 روبية للمزارعين. كما ستقوم بوابة مخصصة تسمى "ثيران باذهاي" بإجراء حملات توظيف ربع سنوية وتقديم 10000 تدريب داخلي مع راتب شهري قدره 10000 روبية. وستزداد مساعدة فترة حظر الصيد من 8000 إلى 12000 روبية. وأشار إلى أن رئيس الوزراء وضع حجر الأساس لمشاريع بقيمة 2700 كرور روبية في الأول من مارس. ومن جانبه، حث الأمين العام لحزب
