Bob Dylan performed three songs from The Basement Tapes during the first four dates of his Long Hot Summer Tour '26.
The shows took place in early June. On June 4 in Troutdale, Oregon, he played “Baby, Won’t You Be My Baby” for the first time since recording it 59 years ago. Two days later in Woodinville, Washington, Dylan opened with “You Ain’t Goin’ Nowhere,” its first appearance since 2012.
On June 9 in Eugene, Oregon, he closed the set with “I Shall Be Released,” last heard live in 2008. Three of the four concerts so far have included these rare tracks.
Throughout his career Dylan has performed only 10 Basement Tapes songs in concert. The current tour features four of them.
