On Bundesliga matchday 32, Bayer Leverkusen defeated RB Leipzig 4:1 (2:0) to boost their chances for fourth place. Patrik Schick scored a hat-trick (25th, 76th, 89th minutes), Nathan Tella added one (45th). Christoph Baumgartner replied for Leipzig (80th). Leverkusen now has 58 points, overtaking VfB Stuttgart and TSG Hoffenheim on goal difference.
"Very happy to have helped the team with three goals today," Schick told Sky. Ibrahim Maza praised rivals' draw: "Super for us." Leipzig stays third with 62 points and can secure Champions League spot next Saturday.
TSG Hoffenheim and VfB Stuttgart drew 3:3 (2:1). Hoffenheim led via Andrej Kramarić (8th, 49th), Stuttgart equalized through Chris Führich (20th) and Ermedin Demirović (64th), Tiago Tomás salvaged 3:3 (90+6th) despite Atakan Karazor's red card (69th). "We showed mentality," said Stuttgart's Alexander Nübel.
HSV beat Eintracht Frankfurt 2:1 (0:0) with goals from Albert Grönbaek (51st) and Fábio Vieira (59th) after Can Uzun's opener (48th). The promoted side extended lead to eight points. Bayern drew 3:3 with Heidenheim, Werder Bremen lost 1:3 to Augsburg, Union Berlin drew 2:2 with Köln.
