Activision and Infinity Ward have announced Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, set for release on October 23, 2026. The game will arrive on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2.

The announcement took place on May 28, 2026. It marks the first Call of Duty title on a Nintendo console since 2013 and the first without support for last-generation consoles in over a decade. Infinity Ward developed the Switch 2 version in partnership with Digital Legends Entertainment, acquired by Activision in 2021.
