Activision och Infinity Ward har utannonserat Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, med planerad utgivning den 23 oktober 2026. Spelet kommer att släppas till PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PC och Nintendo Switch 2.

Utannonseringen ägde rum den 28 maj 2026. Det markerar den första Call of Duty-titeln till en Nintendo-konsol sedan 2013 och den första på över ett decennium utan stöd för föregående konsolgeneration. Infinity Ward har utvecklat versionen till Switch 2 i samarbete med Digital Legends Entertainment, som förvärvades av Activision 2021.
