Conmebol confirms dates for 2026 Recopa between Flamengo and Lanús

Conmebol announced on Thursday (December 18) the dates and times for the 2026 Recopa finals, pitting Flamengo, the 2025 Libertadores champion, against Lanús, the 2025 Sul-Americana winner. The first match will be in Argentina, and the second at the Maracanã.

Conmebol's Competitions and Operations Directorate released the details of the 2026 Recopa on Thursday, December 18, 2025. The two-legged tournament will feature Flamengo, which claimed its fourth Copa Libertadores title by beating Palmeiras 1-0 in the 2025 final, and Argentina's Lanús, which triumphed over Atlético-MG on penalties in the Conmebol Sul-Americana final held in Paraguay.

The first leg is scheduled for February 19, 2026, a Thursday, at Estadio La Fortaleza in Lanús, starting at 9:30 p.m. Brasília time. The decisive second leg will take place a week later, on February 26, also at 9:30 p.m., at the iconic Maracanã in Rio de Janeiro.
