The Eagles received the Patriots' first-round selection in 2028 along with the 2027 fifth-rounder for Brown, a three-time Pro Bowler who recorded 1,003 receiving yards in 2025. Philadelphia had already added receivers including Makai Lemon, Dontayvion Wicks and Marquise Brown to replace his production ahead of the deal. Brown had criticized the Eagles offense publicly during the 2025 season and expressed frustration over the unit's performance despite the team's prior success.
