Minister of Industry Khaled Hashem met with Bel Egypt executives to discuss operations, expansion plans and future investments in Egypt.
Minister of Industry Khaled Hashem met with executives of Bel Egypt on 25 July 2026. The talks focused on the company’s operations, expansion plans and investment strategy in the Egyptian market.
Bel Egypt has operated in Egypt since 1998 and has invested €150m to date. Around 80 percent of its production is exported to 19 countries, with exports exceeding €1.4bn over the past 15 years. Its factory in 10th of Ramadan City sources 90 percent of packaging materials locally.
The company also presented its corporate social responsibility programmes, including employment support for young people leaving care institutions and healthcare initiatives for retail partners. Hashem said the government follows up on investor complaints and remains committed to creating an attractive investment climate.
