They also coached Powell on transforming into his character Chad Powers, emphasizing real quarterback training. Powell, playing disgraced quarterback Russ Holliday who disguises himself to join a college team, received guidance on stance and on-field cadence from the Mannings.
Powell highlighted the challenge: "It's a very specialized skill set to be a quarterback, especially someone at this level. The ask is really high to sell it properly."
