Estadio Azteca-Banorte, host of the 2026 World Cup opener between Mexico and South Africa on June 11 at 1:00 p.m. CST, now provides lodging via Airbnb. This unique experience offers an overnight stay in a private suite overlooking the field, a VIP stadium tour, and time with former footballer Hugo Sánchez. Activities with Sánchez feature a bicycle kick lesson, table soccer, video game challenges, anecdote discussions, and a meal by Airbnb star host chef Fernanda. Guests also get a personalized souvenir and two non-transferable tickets to the inaugural match, covering their own transport and additional costs. Reservations require an Airbnb account and booking via Hugo Sánchez's profile at airbnb.mx/hugol starting Monday, March 23 at 11:00 a.m. Costs remain undisclosed. The venue will host further matches, including Colombia vs. Uzbekistan on June 17 and knockout stage games.
