Fabian Lysell has agreed to a new one-year deal with the Colorado Avalanche. The 23-year-old forward was traded to the team earlier this summer. The contract is valued at 850,000 dollars and covers the 2026/27 season.
The Swedish forward remains with Colorado after the trade from the Boston Bruins. In the deal, forward Ivan Ivan moved in the opposite direction.
Lysell was selected by Boston in the first round of the 2021 draft. He has primarily played in the AHL, recording 42 points in 57 games with the Providence Bruins last season. He has also appeared in 12 NHL games.
The agreement gives Colorado continued rights to Lysell when it expires next summer.
