Noel Fransén signs three-year NHL deal with Carolina Hurricanes

Noel Fransén, the 20-year-old defenseman from Färjestad BK, has signed a three-year entry-level contract with the Carolina Hurricanes. The Swedish player will relocate to North America ahead of the 2026/27 season.

Färjestad BK announced earlier that it would part ways with Fransén after his contract expired. The young defenseman spent the past two seasons on loan in HockeyAllsvenskan, playing for Västerås and BIK Karlskoga. He appeared in just 18 SHL games during his three seasons in the Färjestad organization.
