Noel Fransén, den 20-årige backen från Färjestad BK, har skrivit på ett treårigt rookiekontrakt med Carolina Hurricanes. Den svenske spelaren flyttar till Nordamerika inför säsongen 2026/27.

Färjestad BK meddelade tidigare att man går skilda vägar med Fransén efter att hans kontrakt löpt ut. Den unge backen har tillbringat de två senaste säsongerna på lån i HockeyAllsvenskan, där han spelat för Västerås och BIK Karlskoga.
