كشفت وكالات فيدرالية أمريكية أن الاستخبارات العسكرية الروسية اخترقت آلاف أجهزة التوجيه الخاصة بالمكاتب الصغيرة والمنازل، وحثت المالكين على اتخاذ تدابير وقائية فورية.

كشف مكتب التحقيقات الفيدرالي ووكالة الأمن القومي في 7 أبريل أن وحدة تابعة للاستخبارات العسكرية الروسية تُعرف باسم APT28 أو Fancy Bear تستهدف أجهزة التوجيه المخصصة للمكاتب الصغيرة والمنازل منذ عام 2024 على الأقل. تضمنت العملية اختطاف نظام أسماء النطاقات (DNS) لاعتراض بيانات الاعتماد والاتصالات، مما أثر على أجهزة في 23 ولاية وطال أكثر من 5,000 جهاز استهلاكي بالإضافة إلى 200 مؤسسة وفقاً لتقارير مايكروسوفت.
