أعلن مكتب التحقيقات الفيدرالي (FBI) في أتلانتا يوم الاثنين (13 أبريل 2026) عن إغلاق عملية جرائم سيبرانية في إندونيسيا بالتعاون مع جهات إنفاذ القانون المحلية. اعتمدت العملية على أداة تصيد تُعرف باسم "kit W3LL" لإنشاء صفحات تسجيل دخول مزيفة تحاكي مواقع ويب موثوقة، حيث قام الضحايا بتسليم بيانات دخول حساباتهم عن غير قصد عند إدخالها في تلك المواقع. وأشار البيان الرسمي لمكتب التحقيقات الفيدرالي إلى أن الشبكة سرقت بيانات اعتماد آلاف الحسابات وحاولت تنفيذ عمليات احتيال بقيمة تزيد عن 20 مليون دولار. وذكرت شبكة CBS News أن المحققين الفيدراليين في أتلانتا استهدفوا مواقع مزيفة كانت تسهل عمليات احتيال بملايين الدولارات. يمثل هذا أول تحقيق سيبراني مشترك من نوعه بين مكتب التحقيقات الفيدرالي في أتلانتا والسلطات الإندونيسية، مما يسلط الضوء على أهمية التعاون الدولي في مكافحة الجرائم السيبرانية العالمية.
