Francis Bourgeois, a popular influencer, mechanical engineer, and railway enthusiast, was recently seen in Plockton, a village in Wester Ross, Scotland. He was there filming for his upcoming eight-part series, each episode lasting 60 minutes.

The show, produced by Naked West for the channel Quest, carries the working title We Saved a Train. It will star Bourgeois alongside presenter Chris Harris and is set to stream on Quest later this year.

Amanda Atkinson, general manager of the Plockton Inn, shared her experience of the filming. "It was a pleasure having him film at the Inn for his upcoming show," she said. "He is a bit of a celebrity in these parts, and has strong links to the area I believe."

Atkinson noted that Bourgeois was traveling on the Kyle line, heading toward Fort William. "Francis was travelling on the Kyle line and was headed to Fort William — we will hopefully see him again soon! It was an honour to host him," she added.

Bourgeois has built a significant following through his social media content focused on railways and transport. He boasts 2.4 million followers on Instagram and 3.3 million on TikTok.

Separately, Bourgeois has been announced as the new host for The Grand Tour, joining Thomas Holland and James Engelsman on the Amazon-produced series.
