Former Formula 1 driver David Coulthard says the upcoming Canadian Grand Prix will be a key psychological moment for George Russell as he trails teammate Kimi Antonelli by 20 points in the championship.
Coulthard made the comments on the Up To Speed podcast. He noted that Russell has performed well at the Montreal track in the past but entered the Miami race with a negative mindset that proved hard to overcome. Antonelli, the 19-year-old Mercedes driver, has taken three consecutive victories in China, Japan and Miami, extending his lead after just four races of the season.
