Germany has announced its dressage team for the 2026 World Championships in Aachen. The squad includes three riders from the group that won team gold at last summer's Europeans, with one change in the fourth position.
Hosts Germany selected Isabell Werth on Wendy de Fontaine, Katharina Hemmer on Denoix PCH, Frederic Wandres on Bluetooth OLD, and Raphael Netz on Great Escape Camelot. The lineup keeps the core trio intact from the European champions while adding Netz in place of Ingrid Klimke and Vayron.
Hemmer overcame a disrupted season marked by injury concerns. Denoix withdrew from the German Dressage Championships after a stable bump caused swelling, and the pair also missed an earlier event for the same reason. She returned in time for the final selection trial at Hagen in early July, where she won the Grand Prix.
Netz brings a 2026 Grand Prix average of 73.50 percent, exceeding Klimke's pre-championship marks. The World Championships are scheduled for 11 to 23 August in Aachen.
