Giants' Lee Jung-hoo returns from injury; Dodgers' Kim Hye-seong sent to minors

San Francisco Giants outfielder Lee Jung-hoo returned from a back injury on Friday and collected four hits in a game against the Colorado Rockies.

The Giants reinstated Lee from the 10-day injured list and started him in right field at Coors Field in Denver. The 48-game veteran was batting .268 with three home runs and 17 RBIs before the mid-back strain sidelined him.

Lee went 4-for-5 with two runs scored in the 8-6 loss. He singled twice, doubled and added another single after an initial groundout.

In a separate move, the Los Angeles Dodgers optioned infielder Kim Hye-seong to Triple-A before their game against the Philadelphia Phillies. Kim had hit .259 with one home run, 11 RBIs and five steals in 43 games but slumped to .186 over his last 15 outings.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Kim's swing has changed and he appears more tentative at the plate. The team also re-signed utility player Santiago Espinal amid multiple injuries.
