The National Police's Traffic and Transport Directorate provided an update on the Return Plan following the holiday bridge weekend. Over 3.2 million vehicles are traveling on the country's main roads and highways. Nationwide, 5,000 officers were deployed to ensure safe mobility for returning travelers. The Police praised the positive behavior of most citizens and road users, noting that the vast majority followed authorities' recommendations, with only a few exceptions. “We want to acknowledge the positive behavior of citizens and road actors during this time. The vast majority have followed the authorities' recommendations and very few have not,” the Police stated. Drivers were urged to obey traffic signs, transit rules, and wear seatbelts, with special emphasis on motorcyclists using safety gear. The Transport Ministry had projected 4 million vehicles on roads and over 835,000 passengers for the holiday period. In Cundinamarca, around 1.2 million automobiles were mobilized, and 650,000 in Bogotá. Public transport saw high demand, carrying 3.9 million people from Colombia's 52 official terminals over the three days.
