Comedian Jack Whitehall has responded to singer Becky Hill's new diss track inspired by his 2025 BRIT Awards comment. He described himself as honoured by the song and said there is no beef between them.
Whitehall hosted the 2025 BRIT Awards and referred to Hill as a 'Wetherspoons Whitney,' a remark about her Midlands accent. Hill, from Bewdley in Worcestershire, responded at the time by pointing out the privileged backgrounds of many winners that night. In a recent red carpet interview with blogger ThisIsMax, Whitehall said he loves Hill and saw her at the F1 where they laughed about the incident. 'I feel honoured that I've got a diss track written about me,' he added, noting he was surprised it had taken so long. Hill told NME that the track 'Daddy Range Rover' on her upcoming album Rebecca was directly inspired by the comment. The album is scheduled for release on September 25.
