The Toronto Marlies defeated the Cleveland Monsters 5-2 in Game 4 of the North Division finals on Friday night at Coca-Cola Coliseum. The victory evened the best-of-five series at two games apiece and sent the matchup to a decisive Game 5.
Ryan Tverberg scored twice and added an assist to lead the Marlies attack. Artur Akhtyamov stopped 36 shots while preserving a shutout until the final three minutes. Alex Nylander, Henry Thrun and Jacob Quillan also found the net for Toronto, with Logan Shaw recording two assists.
