The Miami Marlins defeated the San Francisco Giants 6-3 on Saturday at loanDepot park. Otto Lopez became the first Major Leaguer with 100 hits this season while Max Meyer improved to 8-0.
Miami improved to 39-38 and moved above .500 for the first time since April 14. The team is 13-4 in June and has won seven straight home games.
Meyer allowed two runs over five innings with seven strikeouts. He is the only qualified starter in the majors without a loss.
Lopez reached 100 hits with a single in the fourth inning. Heriberto Hernández added a two-run homer later in the frame.
The Marlins scored four runs in the fourth to pull away after Casey Schmitt tied the game with a solo shot.
