Major League Baseball has cleared Los Angeles Dodgers team doctor Neal ElAttrache following an investigation into his connection to performance-enhancing drugs prescribed to UFC fighter Conor McGregor.
MLB officials stated they interviewed ElAttrache last week and reviewed relevant records. The league found no concerns regarding his treatment of MLB players or adherence to the Joint Drug Program.
ElAttrache oversaw McGregor's care after the fighter suffered broken bones in his legs. He referred McGregor to a specialist who prescribed the PEDs.
The league considers the matter closed. ElAttrache also serves as team doctor for the Los Angeles Rams and has a long history of treating athletes across multiple sports.
