Co-creators and co-showrunners Tina Fey, Lang Fisher, and Tracey Wigfield issued a statement expressing excitement about the renewal. "We are thrilled to be able to bring a third season of 'The Four Seasons' to life," they said. "Thank you to everyone who watched. Middle-aged people, LFG!"
Netflix Vice President of U.S. Comedy Tracey Pakosta highlighted the appeal of the series. "It's been a joy watching the chaotic, beautiful journey of these lifelong friends," she said. She added that the creative team blends heart and sharp humor effectively.
The second season, consisting of eight episodes, premiered on the platform on May 28. The show follows six friends who maintain their tradition of group vacations while dealing with personal challenges and the loss of a friend.
