It scored 83 points in an evaluation verified by Green Business Certification Inc. The award underscores its performance in energy efficiency and environmental sustainability.

Parque La Colina Shopping Center has renewed its LEED Platinum certification, securing the highest sustainability rating from the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). The recertification under the rigorous v4.1 Operations and Maintenance (O+M) version assesses the building's actual operational performance.

Verified by Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI), the review covered energy efficiency, water usage, indoor air quality, and carbon footprint reduction. Scoring 83 points, the center optimizes resources and adheres to international standards.

Mildred Patiño, the Center Manager, stated: “This achievement reaffirms our commitment to the environment. The shopping center's operations rely on technical management focused on energy efficiency, water savings, and reducing environmental impact.”

The milestone places Parque La Colina among Colombia's most sustainable commercial assets. Its operator, Parque Arauco, has six properties certified under LEED or EDGE schemes, accounting for about 13% of retail gross leasable area and 15% of revenues.
