The PGA Tour Policy Board approved the release of pace-of-play stats for the Korn Ferry Tour in November. A memo sent to PGA Tour and Korn Ferry Tour players this week announced that the data will appear on player profiles and stat pages on the Korn Ferry Tour website after the Colonial Life Charity Classic, scheduled for May 14-17. The statistics have been privately available to players throughout 2026, powered by the Tour's ShotLink system, which tracks precise timings for tee shots, approach shots, and other categories. Tournament-specific and season-average timings will be shown, along with an overall Speed-of-Play ranking listing the fastest players first. Individual averages will update during events for the first time. The initiative lists four player-friendly objectives: providing competitive context to fans; creating positive storylines to shift negative perceptions around speed of play; correcting inaccurate labels for slower players; and informing the slowest players to monitor improvements. PGA Tour commissioner Jay Monahan first promised such stats at the 2025 Players Championship, calling it a point of emphasis from fan feedback, though implementation has been delayed. The Korn Ferry Tour often tests changes before they reach the main circuit, such as allowing rangefinders this year. Screenshots in the memo show the stats prominently placed near strokes-gained data on player profiles.
