Post Malone, Tom Cruise and Jennifer Hudson are among the performers scheduled for the closing ceremony of the 2026 World Cup. The event will take place on Sunday, July 19, ahead of the final between Spain and Argentina.
The 90-minute closing ceremony will feature additional acts including Robbie Williams, Nicole Scherzinger, Laura Pausini and IShowSpeed. FIFA President Gianni Infantino said Post Malone will deliver a performance designed to celebrate the tournament’s journey and ignite the atmosphere before the world’s attention turns to the two finalists.
A halftime show will also take place for the first time at the World Cup. Organised by Chris Martin of Coldplay, it will include Justin Bieber, Madonna, Shakira and BTS. Bieber said he is grateful to be part of the show, which supports the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund.
The fund has raised over $30 million to improve children’s access to education and football. One dollar from every ticket sold during the tournament is donated to the initiative. England will face France on July 18 for third place.
