Flávio Bolsonaro confirmed on Tuesday that he visited banker Daniel Vorcaro after his first arrest in 2025. The revelation impacted his presidential pre-campaign and drew reactions at a mayors' event in Brasília.
The PL senator admitted the meeting during a party caucus session and in public statements. Vorcaro had already invested R$ 61 million in the film "Dark Horse" about Jair Bolsonaro. Flávio pledged to account for the funds within 30 days.
In Brasília at the Marcha dos Prefeitos, Flávio received applause from supporters yet also heard shouts of "Vorcaro" and "rachadinha". The CNM president called for respect during the event.
An AtlasIntel poll released Tuesday showed Flávio's voting intention drop to 34.3% against Lula's 47%. Centrão and PL members plan to wait for further polls before defining alliances.
