استناداً إلى تقارير سابقة عن مواقع Claude الاحتيالية، بدأ المحتالون في اختراق محادثات Claude AI وإعلانات Google لتوزيع برمجيات ضارة تستهدف مستخدمي أجهزة Mac. وتنتشر حالياً صفحات دعم وهمية لخدمة Claude عبر الإنترنت كجزء من هذا المخطط.

تستخدم الحملة مواقع ويب مخادعة تنتحل صفة موارد الدعم الرسمية لـ Claude. وتظهر هذه الصفحات في نتائج البحث والإعلانات الممولة، مما يخدع المستخدمين لتحميل برامج ضارة على أجهزة كمبيوتر Apple الخاصة بهم. وكان الباحثون قد حددوا سابقاً واجهات Claude وهمية مشابهة تقوم بتوزيع برمجيات خبيثة تفتح أبواباً خلفية للأجهزة.
