TaylorMade Launches Spider ZT Max Putter

TaylorMade has introduced the Spider ZT Max putter, a larger version of its zero-torque model aimed at recreational golfers.

The company announced the new putter alongside its revamped 2026 Spider Tour Torched lineup. The ZT Max is 20 percent larger than the original Spider ZT, with heavy steel and tungsten weighting that raises MOI to around 7,000 g/cm² in the standard model. It features a center-shaft design and a deeper center of gravity, resulting in a 2-degree shaft lean. The putter uses TaylorMade’s PureRoll insert with 45-degree grooves. The standard model costs $449.99 in lengths from 33 to 35 inches. Counterbalance and long versions are priced at $499.99 and $549.99. Orders began June 4 online and at retail locations. TaylorMade Director of Product Creation Andrew Oldknow said consumer demand has shifted toward easier-to-use equipment compared with Tour preferences.
