Warner Records promotes Miles Gersh to EVP of A&R

Warner Records announced the promotion of Miles Gersh to executive vice president of A&R on April 7. Gersh, who joined the label in 2019, introduced Zach Bryan to the company in 2020, leading to the artist's signing the following year.

Warner Records elevated Miles Gersh from vice president of A&R to executive vice president, the label announced on April 7. Gersh first connected with Warner Records Group CEO and co-chairman Aaron Bay-Schuck in 2019 and brought country artist Zach Bryan to his attention in 2020 after Bryan's independent releases gained traction. Bryan signed with Warner Records in 2021 and has since released five top 10 albums on the Billboard 200, including two number one albums: his self-titled 2023 set and this year's With Heaven on Top. He also earned three top 10 entries on the Billboard Hot 100, highlighted by the number one hit “I Remember Everything” featuring Kacey Musgraves. Gersh has supported other rising talents including bunii, IShowSpeed, Maddox Batson, CJ and Veeze. Before Warner, he worked at Doug Morris’s 12Tone Music and earned spots on Billboard’s 40 Under 40 and Country Power Players lists. Aaron Bay-Schuck commended Gersh in a statement: “Miles understands that true artist development starts with a deep respect for the creator’s voice. The partnership he’s built with Zach and his other outstanding artists reflects his commitment to authenticity and his drive to help our talent win on their own terms.” Gersh responded: “I’m deeply grateful to Aaron and [Warner Records executive vp & head of A&R] Karen [Kwak] for their mentorship and for their belief in me as I take on this new role.”
