Ubisoft has announced that Solid Snake from the Metal Gear Solid series will become a playable operator in Rainbow Six Siege with the launch of Operation Silent Hunt on March 3, 2026. Sony Pictures has signed filmmakers Zach Lipovsky and Adam B. Stein, directors of 2025's Final Destination: Bloodlines, to a first-look deal that includes them helming the long-in-development Metal Gear Solid movie adaptation.
