وقّعت حكومة كينيا اتفاقية شراكة عام-خاص بقيمة 40.4 مليار شلن كيني لتعزيز شبكة نقل الطاقة الكهربائية الوطنية. يتضمن الصفقة، التي تم توقيعها بين شركة نقل الكهرباء الكينية المحدودة (KETRACO) وAfrica50 بالشراكة مع شركة PowerGrid الهندية، بناء ممرين لنقل عالي الجهد ومحطات فرعية. ويهدف إلى تعزيز استقرار الشبكة، تقليل الخسائر الفنية، ودمج مصادر الطاقة المتجددة.
