WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray expressed disappointment over a portion of the Oba Femi and Brock Lesnar weigh-in segment that aired on Monday's WWE Raw. He specifically took issue with Femi's attack on police officers during the Hell in a Cell buildup.
Bully Ray appeared on Busted Open Radio and questioned the believability of the scene. He noted that commentary identified the individuals as police officers and said a dozen of Los Angeles's finest were present.
"Not one of those legitimate police officers fought back. I think one of the cops had a gun on his hip," Ray said. He added that the sequence of Femi chokeslamming and powerbombing the officers was insulting to his intelligence.
Ray suggested two changes he would have made. He would have had Femi put his hands on WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H, who was in the ring, and rip the chain off the cage door.
Femi and Lesnar remain tied 1-1 heading into their Hell in a Cell match at WWE SummerSlam on Saturday night. Femi won at WrestleMania 42, while Lesnar prevailed at Clash in Italy in May.
