An infant was found lifeless in a Borlänge apartment on Tuesday. Two people were arrested on suspicion of a crime but later released. The case is now being investigated as causing another's death, prosecutor Karolina Lassbo said.
On Tuesday, an infant was found lifeless in an apartment in Borlänge. Police and ambulance were called to the scene and attempted life-saving measures on the child without success, according to P4 Dalarna.
The same evening, two people were arrested and detained shortly thereafter on suspicion of a crime. However, Falu District Court did not consider the suspicions sufficient to remand them in custody.
"They have been released on free foot," kammaråklagare Karolina Lassbo told SVT Dalarna. "As it looks now, it is classified as causing another's death."
The preliminary investigation continues, with the prosecutor awaiting, among other things, results from the autopsy to proceed with the case. Sveriges Radio P4 Dalarna was first to report the incident.
