The KT Wiz were in third place before the All-Star break, three and a half games behind the LG Twins. They swept the Twins in a four-game series and now hold a 51-35-1 record.
This week the Wiz open a three-game series against the Doosan Bears at KT Wiz Park in Suwon before traveling to Busan to face the Lotte Giants. The Wiz last led the league on May 17.
The LG Twins seek to end a five-game losing streak against the NC Dinos and Hanwha Eagles. The Samsung Lions, who have won eight of their last 10 games, remain in first place.
