Lazoschmidl presented its spring 2027 menswear collection with an emphasis on underwear as the central element amid Europe's heat.
Designers Josef Lazo and Andreas Schmidl embraced the brand's reputation as an underwear label. They created a lineup built around Y-fronts and Speedos, along with two-piece sets pairing tanks and briefs.
Additional pieces included polo-style tops, logo sweats, giraffe-print pants, and robes in floral, patchwork, terry cloth, and sequined styles. The collection drew subconscious inspiration from 1980s sitcoms such as Golden Girls.
Lazo stated the team decided to approach underwear on their own terms rather than treating it as a niche topic. Schmidl added that the garments should not be hidden and can fit into a fashion context.
