Bandai Namco announced Gundam Rogue Orbit, a new third-person action game set for release in 2027. The title was revealed during the Summer Game Fest showcase on June 5, 2026.
Gundam Rogue Orbit will let players control a Gundam in high-mobility combat against sci-fi creatures. It is described as a cinematic story-driven experience in an all-new universe. The game is scheduled to launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam. A trailer was shown at the event, marking the first major western showcase for a Gundam title in recent years. “Change humanity’s fate in Gundam Rogue Orbit, a high-mobility action game that delivers a bold new take on Gundam, blending a fast-paced cinematic story with intense, hard-hitting combat in an all-new universe,” the official description states. This follows the 2023 shutdown of Gundam Evolution, the previous major Gundam release.
